Accidentally put the wrong monthly pay on my payment plan application

This is my first time owing a large amount of money after filing my taxes. I applied for the payment plan and thought it was a breeze until I realized I put the full amount I owe in the monthly payment field instead of what I can pay every month.

I’m currently on hold waiting for the next available agent at the irs (been an hour already :-))

I’m curious to know what my options are? My application has been submitted and pending. If I can’t get a hold of an agent, hopefully I do, do I wait until I get a response from the IRS to see if I can revise my application? I’m afraid of getting rejected automatically.
