Getting a check up from Recovery Girl after saving an underground heroes daughters wasn't what Izuku was expecting. Though Recovery Girl was really interested in his second quirk, Third Person, when a man who Izuku mentally refers to him as cockatoo arrives and tells him that he is his new dad. This is how Izuku ended up the son of Present Mic, which in Izuku's honest opinion is nice as they both understand their disabilities. Getting to hang out and go to the same high school as Eraserhead's daughters is nice until the entrance exam for the hero course in U.A university when he sees his twin sister who he hasn't "seen" in almost fifteen years.

Akeno didn't know what to think as she looks at her twin brother Izuku, who her despicable parents abandoned just because he was born blind, before Izuku is suddenly right in front of her and he gives her a brief hug. In the mock city Akeno is able to see Izuku, as they are in the same mock city, destroy robots with his enhanced speed and help others. She only hopes Izuku is willing to head to auntie Mitsuki's, as Mitsuki and Masaru took her in after Hisashi and Inko abandoned Izuku, so they can catch up.

Izuku here was born blind and has two quirks, one called Third Person and the other Acceleration. Third Person allows Izuku to "see" as he can view things in third person like in a video game and Acceleration is a speed quirk that allows Izuku to run extremely fast. U.A is a university here.
