(Dummy) Airport to Resort

Hi, we are traveling our first time to a resort in Rivera Maya. We are landing at the Cancun (CUN) airport.

I wanted to clarify that once landing do we goto baggage claim and claim our baggage using the info they give us when first checking the bags, and then do we goto arrivals and find someone holding a sign of our resort to bring us to the resort? Is that the whole arrival process and is there anything I should know? Just not sure and don’t wanna get lost, thanks.

Sounds pretty dumb but just not sure, thanks.
