Can someone tell me the name of this anime

This was an old anime and it was of this child actor with her author mum. She's in eke try and helped this boy in her yesr with his problems like how their mum died his sister was rlly rude.

Uhhh and she goes into middle school at some point. Her mum looses the house at one point? Her bodyguard as a complex relationship with this ginger lady. But it was just about struggles she went through and her relationship with THAG boy. That's all I remember sadly 💔
