Estranged younger brother reaches out to me again

This happened a couple weeks ago. Its the second time he's reached out to me on Facebook. Initially, I had him blocked. I haven't seen or spoken to him in about 6 years. The first time he reached out, I received a friend request by him under an alternate account with a different name. He messaged me saying "it's been so long, blah blah, have you seen dad"?

Now, I went "no contact" with my dad over a year ago and have been desperately missing him since then. I prayed for a sign that my dad and I should reconcile and received that message from my bro afterward, which I took as an answer to my prayers, but still never reconnected with either of them.

Here we are present day and my brother again reached out using an alternate account, this time under my dad's name, which confused and worried me. I took no action and decided to pray over it. I checked later and Surprise surprise, it was my brother and I hated he used our dad's name to deceive/trick me into replying, as though I'm dumb enough to not tell it's him when he's literally using his own pic in the profile.

Anyway, I read his little message. This time he seemed more frantic, telling me it was him and that he wanted my contact info. I say he sounded frantic because he put a bunch of exclamation points after his sentences. I never received an apology from him nor any explanation as to why he finally decided to contact me after all these years.

I guess I'll never find out why because I immediately blocked him again and reported his profile for harassment, which went nowhere by the way. For me, I've developed my own coping mechanism to deal with this: to remain oblivious, cut off and numb.

In the end my day was ruined and I was left disappointed more than anything.
