How do you respond to people who hate modern tech in cars.

General

I've heard a lot of pushback from people who say todays cars are too reliant on screens, overly complicated, or intrusive and disconnected. They want more buttons and say software is the absolute least of their concerns.

I feel the opposite in my car. Maintenance and repair are incredibly simple, the car in general is simple and easy to use, the ADAS are very usable and get out of the way when you want, and when you want to drive yourself the car has power and quick steering just about everywhere.

The negativity is in nearly every review of every modern car, primarily those "inspired" by tesla. It's also not entirely new.

I'm not sure if they've driven other modern cars, maybe it's the lack of good software they're really missing? It's a hard sell though.

Do you bother responding or do you feel the same? I don't think everyone is resistant to change but it feels pretty similar to how I felt when the first iPhone/smartphones came out and most people just didn't get it.
