Can someone help explain what this means ? I've not been able to locate a definition from a reliable and credible source....

What are transgamers? To me it kind of sounds like a gamer that is transitioning or has transitioned, right ? Like someone who went from LoL to DotA or from CS:GO to PUBG. Are there many who successfully transitioned? I used to play a LOT of DotA and many of my friends play LoL which i have tried a few times but i could never bring myself to transition... i just keep going back to DotA....
