Renters Assemble!

Hey Renters! Salt Lake City Gov here,

We’re looking at ways to improve conditions for renters. One way that we’re trying to make things better is by improving lease agreements (we know…we know…how cool of us). But we can’t do it alone – we need your help!

 We’re collecting as many leases as we can so that we can learn what types of language is in them (rent increases, fees, pet clauses, other weird language). We’re looking for the good, the bad, and the ugly, so please upload a copy of your lease (all personal information blacked out, pretty please) at www.slc.gov/renters.

 And feel free to drop crazy lease language into the comments.
