I have oily combination skin (super oily tzone, normal and sometimes oily cheeks), large pores, small bumps near chin and particularly on forehead and sometimes on the cheek too. Dark circles and pigmented face. Chin and nose have small dots whiteheads(?) i think, used to pop the pimples as soon as I saw them so not sure how often I get pimples. I also have 2-3 tiny white somethings near the corner of my eyes, have it for a few years now and its like its superglued to my skin.

I was intoduced to skin care about 2 months ago and immediately bought some products after searching the net. For the past 2 months my routine was

AM: Cetaphil gentle cleanser, dot&key green tea toner, minimalist vitC serum 10%, dr.sheth ceramide vitamin c moisturizer, reequel sunscreen

PM: Cetaphil gentle cleanser, dr.sheth moisturizer, entod beauty undereye gel

After starting this routine, in 2-3 days I got two pimples, one my forehead and one on left cheek. I thought it might just be because my skins not used to the products so I used it on alternate days. Then I stopped using the dot&key toner because it stung a little when applying and the smell was too much and I thought it was the reason for the pimples. But even after, the pimples still continued. I used to have 1 or 2 pimples before but not so frequently. I'm not really good at noticing the small changes so I don't know which product is helping and which is not.

So I decided to change my skin care routine. Looked through this sub and finally decided on some products

Cosrx SA gentle cleanser

Doux UV sunscreen

minimalist niacinamide 5% serum

Cosrx snail mucin essence

Deconstruct retinol and peptide serum

I was going to buy the cosrx low ph face wash but read a review that it worsens fungal acne so didn't wanna take any chances. And now I'm not sure about the products anymore. I'm a newbie so I don't know which products suit my skin and I'm not so rich that I can try every product. Many people on here were happy with the minimalist salycilic acid face wash. So please help me with this, I have no idea how to go about this and I don't wanna waste my money on products that I won't be able to use.

Please share your experiences with this products and recommend some other products that might help me improve my skin.

Also, if I frequently have 2-3 pimples on my face does it mean my skin is acne prone?

Help please. Should I buy a Cosrx SA Cleanser or a Minimalist for my oily skin? (newbie)
