Is the 10 year gap between majors because Rory hasn't been the same since or its just really hard to win?

I do think when he was in his 20's he was more in his peak and had more hype. Obviously its hard to win and you really don't know when the next time is. Maybe its just me but I feel like I haven't paid attention to Rory as much as I used to. Winning the Masters felt like a Renaissance and a reminder that he's still one of the best in the world.
