Cant link account to epic games.

My friends linked with no issues at all. I am trying to link to Epic Games, I get the pop up window asking me if I want to play online, I click link Epic Games and nothing happens. I go to play online and it asks me to link Epic Games.

The internet doesn't seem to have anyone else in the world with this issues? If you're out there with a fix, please save me!
