Starting a PP as an LMHC

If you have any tips on starting your own virtual private practice, i’d appreciate it so much!

I also have some questions for those who are on that path:

• How much money to you suggest saving before investing in starting your own Private Practice? (i currently work FT at a PP in NYC and am not allowed to begin my practice while working here, so I need to be ready for a major transition)

• Did you have to rent a physical location in person in order to create a PLLC? (to have an address even though you’re meeting virtually)

• What are some EHR that are affordable and effective you’d recommend?

• Did you hire anyone to help or was the admin work and credentialing easy to manage?
