I know nothing about these rugs and I’m hoping that someone here can help me. There’s no label or tag or anything on the back to ID them.

Two years ago, I was tasked with emptying my parents former home in less than a month. I kept very few things but I did keep some art work and a few rugs that my mother purchased years ago at an oriental rug store in suburban Philadelphia. My parents nextdoor neighbor at the time of purchase was from Iran and I remember my mother telling me that he knew the owner of the rug co and he got her a very good deal.

The first rug measures 9’x12’, it’s in good condition but there is some light wear on one corner that can be seen in one photo. I had no use for this rug so I put it in a condo that my nephew was renting because he needed an area rug. A few days later I found the receipt for this first rug in my parents papers for $5000+ and an appraisal for around 9K! Needless to say, I took the rug back and gave my nephew something else and it has been in storage since. I am trying to locate the receipt, it’s around here somewhere, I’m sure I didn’t throw it out.

The second rug measures 3 1/2’ x 6’, also in good condition but missing a little fringe in one spot.

I have no use for these rugs and nobody in the family wants them. I’m hoping someone here can tell me something about them and what they could be worth. Other than an auction, what’s the best way to sell them? Thank you for any help you can offer!
