One limb on my aloe is dying.
I water it every other week which seems to be its happy zone. It's in front of a window with blinds that are usually closed-ish enough to let some light through.
I've seen those brown spots for a while, but even though I thought they were weird I didn't really think to do anything about them. But then it started dying at the top. I thought maybe that one limb was getting too much sunlight since it was directly facing the window, so I turned the pot.
It's continued to die and the whiteness on it is new. The white stuff doesn't come off, and it doesn't feel like a powder or a liquid.
The limb itself is thinner than it should be and slightly squishy.
What's happening here? Is there anything I can do to help it? Do I need to amputate?
