I’m scared for the future because I don’t want my mum to become lonely, any advice on how to support your mum when she becomes a widow and will live on her own?
With my dad passing away last month, one of the saddest thing was seeing my mum become a widow and losing my dad, they had been married for 38 years. I'm getting married this June but will move out officially around November time to my new house which is 10 mins away from my mums which is great but in the future my husband would want to probably say he wants to live somewhere different so I don't know what will happen , I already have my house but just not ready to move just yet. My sister is getting married this August and she will move out and rent somewhere with her husband.
I'm really worried for my mum. She said she will feel alone and miss us but she wants us to have a happy married life. My mum has been become a widow, two daughters moving out all within the same year. The house will feel so lonely because everyday wr ate dinner together as a family for so many years. I just wanted some advice how do you support your remaining parent when they live on their own, plan for the future?.
