How bad is the course load for BMEB and would it be possible to double major?
I've committed here as a freshman to BMEB major (Bioinformatics track). I've looked at the course requirements, and they seem absurdly extensive compared to other university's requirements for the same major and compared to other majors at UCSC
How bad is the course load? Is it easily manageable? It kind of worries me because I have ADHD and don't want to overload myself with courses every quarter
Also, would double majoring in an easier major, or potentially minoring be feasible? I want to try to double major in history or minor in applied math / astrophysics
I'll have a bunch of AP credits (10 tests) and a few dual enrollment math classes (Calc III, LinAlg, DiffEq and Discrete Math), which would hopefully make this easier.
Any advice would be helpful!
