I'm bad with appointments

Just got back from DPS because I booked an appointment for MAY 15th two days ago and never noticed that it was 5/15 rather than 4/15.

I'm still trying to get my first time permit and so I had to Uber over there and back. It feels so sucky because I'm trying to hard to save money and be attentive, but it feels like the rug is often pulling from under my feet. I'm generally serious/hardworking and this type of thing makes me feel irrationally inadequate.
