Taxes: any local, free tax prep help year round?

I Wrote This!

Obviously most or all of the local and national free tax prep services, usually or only for elderly and/or low-income, whether thru AARP, VITA or wherever, only offer free tax prep help until April 15, sometimes even ending earlier.

Just wondering if any provide assistance throughout the year for late filers like me.

Likely not.

I think Bentley University used to have tax students offer help, but I think that service is no longer offered.

And I think Suffolk University has a Masters in Taxation, but can't recall if their students provide services during their school year.

Otherwise, I'll make sure for next year that I take advantage of such services at the beginning of the tax filing season.

At least for my skills, my tax situation is suddenly complicated this year.

For now, even though elderly and low-income, I guess I'll have to just pay a year-round professional preparer for advice and help on my 2024 taxes anytime this year since I missed this year's April 15 date.

Thanks.
