So anyone else think it’s strange that the ONE Metro game with a character and voiced protagonist is the VR version??
So absolutely backwards to me. The literal ‘in their shoes’ as immersive as possible and yet you’re this dude with dialogue and character model. But in the flat screen fps, rpg, narrative driven game you’re a mute blob with no face. It’s one thing for a souls game to have no dialogue.. I mean could you imagine cyberpunk with a blank voiceless character??
Honestly why I couldn’t continue playing Metro because it was just too infuriating for me. And tbh I feel like it was almost more work just to manipulate all the dialogue in the game so that he can’t talk lol. If anyone’s seen the movie “Waiting” it reminds me so much of the trainee character that doesn’t get to talk the entire movie, and then just loses his shit and screams at everyone at the end.
