Anyone here using a MacBook for YouTube content creation? (Gameplay, Screen Recording, Voiceover)

Hey everyone! I'm planning to start a new YouTube channel (mostly gameplay content like Roblox), and I wanted to ask if anyone here is using a MacBook Pro as their main setup for recording and editing videos?

I have a regular M4 MacBook Pro and I'm currently recording my screen using OBS, and planning to do voiceovers or live commentary. I'm wondering:

• Is anyone else here recording gameplay or tutorials directly on their MacBook?
• What mic are you using with your MacBook setup? (I don’t have an external mic yet—any recommendations?)
• What’s your workflow like? (screen recording → audio → editing — what software are you using?)
• Are there any limitations or things I should watch out for when using a MacBook for this kind of content creation?
• Any general tips or advice from other Mac users would be amazing!

I’m still very new to this and want to make sure I’m starting off on the right foot. Appreciate any input 🙏
