Cancelling a first date after rescheduling once?

Two weeks ago I [29F] matched with someone [33M] on a dating app and after chatting for a while on the app I finally asked if he would wanna get drinks the following week so we set up a time and place. The day of the date comes around and neither of us text to confirm, but I ended up feeling unwell and asked to reschedule to the following week same time and place. Now it’s about 3:30 in the afternoon 4 hours before we’re meant to meet and he hasn’t reached out. I know I can reach out to confirm but I’m finding myself not really wanting to because I’m not very excited about the date and would rather stay home and have a low key night in. Because it’s so close to our meeting time I feel like a huge asshole cancelling, but his lack of reaching out to confirm leads me to believe he also might not be interested. I don’t like to assume and I know I shouldn’t but I’m not really sure how to approach this. Any advice?
