Applying in the fall
i’m a first gen and very confused by the ontario application process and have some questions if anyone could give me insight that would be greatly appreciated!
I’m planning to apply in the fall as a 4th year undergrad. Is this okay or do I wait until the following cycle as I will not be submitting my grades for fourth year. I’m asking because many of the law school applications say they place more weight on the L2 however I will only have grades from 1-3rd year.
Since I will be applying in 4th year, I’ve kind of had an unusual uni schedule. I got to UOFT and have been recommended by advisors to take 4 courses per semester since I started. I have always been considered a full time student, however in 2 semesters I dropped a course (leaving me with 3 classes) because of mental health however given this I still was classified as a full time student. Will this look bad on my application? As I see that Western recognizes 5 courses as full time. Despite all this I’m applying with 15/20 credits completed which is the traditional threshold entering into 4th year. In addition I have 2 CR on my transcript, both passed and elective courses will this play a factor when applying as a 4th year student?
For some context, I currently have a 3.9 CGPA, and am taking the LSAT in June, August, and September and hoping to get between a 160-167 (what I have been averaging).
