Just got the Xiaomi TV Box S (3rd Gen) – quick review

I’ve been testing the new Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen for a couple of days now. Overall, it’s a solid upgrade!

Pros:

- Fast and smooth UI (thanks to the new Amlogic S905X5M chip)

- 4K UHD with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos & DTS:X support – great for movie nights

- Runs on Google TV – very clean interface

- Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth 5.2 for better connectivity

- 32GB storage (finally more room for apps!)

Cons:

- Only 2GB RAM – not ideal for heavy multitasking

- No Ethernet port – Wi-Fi only

For the price (~$60), I think it’s a great value streaming box if you don’t need advanced gaming or wired connection.

Let me know if you have any questions!
