Is it weird to walk to the car?
I live in a very confusing apartment complex. I usually include instructions on how to get to my specific apartment (turn left, go past the dumpsters, etc.) but I find that a lot of dashers have gotten lost regardless.
I usually door dash very late at night (12am-3am) and I feel bad because it’s even darker and difficult to see which apartment I am. Last time, I just waited at the door until I saw a car pull in that looked like it could be my dasher and I approached the passenger side window before they parked their car to grab my food.
Looking back, is this creepy? I understand if they could be scared or put off especially late at night (thought I am a woman for context). Would it be better for me to stand outside of my door? I usually put no contact because I don’t want to wake my roommates up when they’re sleeping with knocking.
What’s the best course of action here?
