A question to the SEECS People (Not NET Related)

So I have heard that seecs ppl have minimal social life as compared to other departments.Ofcource I understand this is partly due to studies. I've heard seecs ppl being friends only cuz they help each other in studies and thats it no other discussions.How true is it? And how much is the study burden if you study every day and not wait for the mids or the finals? Obviously now most of the people in SEECS are toppers in various disciplines. Toppers are also of two types. So which is the majority in SEECS.

At the first one you have absolute sweats. All they care about is study. No awareness about news, memes, hobbies and any other stuff. And even their friendships thrive because the only thing they can discuss are studies.

Now another type is the one that study good not as good as type 1 but focus on other stuff too like workouts, hobbies, news, memes, discussions on all topics and stuff.

Personally I am an ambivert and to some extent the later one having quite a few hobbies and would like to socialize on the basis of general vibe match and not just study study like you're studying this and that and all this stuff. Like smone to go workout with maybe and gaming partner too.
