Patch 8 - Wherefore Art Thou? (Mac woes edition)

I'm having trouble getting Patch 8 up and running. I'm on a Mac, so that may be part of the issue—though from what I can read in the patch notes, it should, in theory, be working.

My game was updated today a few hours after Patch 8 went live. I see the new trading cards. Patch 8 is selectable in Mod Manager, etc., but when I start a new game, I don't see any of the latest content. Is there anything I can or need to do to enable Patch 8 on my Mac? Or is this just a matter of being patient, and it will automatically show up at some point in the (hopefully near) future?
