I feel like the devs thought of a bunch of stuff players have wished there was in past souls and souls likes and did them . They did such a great job.

Big one being ablity to refight bosses. And now that I’m writing this the other things I noticed while playing last night are slipping my mind haha . But there’s other things forsure that they did that just speaks to fans of souls likes directly and does it so well. Like a love letter to souls fans. Then there’s the uniqueness and their own add ons they’ve come up with. A really cool one being that you earn a little bit of Lacrima every time you die to a boss so it motivates you to keep going and eventually will even earn you a level (or several if you’re stuck long like I was for Viper lol) . Also being able to sell items for either cash or lacrima which is really cool. The affinities and afflictions and having a water affinity which I find sooo cool for some reason (feels anime style ). But regardless just have sooo many good things to say about this game it’s absolutely amazing. These devs should be proud of what they came up with and truly hope they eventually do a DLC and some more releases . Amazing game. Can’t wait to keep playing tonight . Put more attempts in on Volbaino who was kicking my ass last night lol.
