Melee Ghoul Build question.

I mainly played bloody unarmed/melee and had that dialed in quite well. When I saw the damage you could do as a melee ghoul I quickly took the massive radiation procedure.

But recently I encountered a problem and want to see if anyone has come up with anything.

Scorchbeasts. When feral I can’t fucking shoot them. They wrecked my house, chased me down, made me run and hide like a coward. And that’s not what a “punch everything to death” build is all about. I jump and punch. Nothing. I climb on a cliff and jump and punch. Nothing. I shoot my shotgun, I shoot my missiles. Nothing.

Any tips from my fellow punch em smash em ghoul family?

Should I just do drugs when I see the scorch beasts?
