Overview-the Pheelanae (singular: Pheelan), also known as Catkind or The Prrlaa, are a sentient, highly advanced feline species that originated from the lush astral jungle world of Pheela Prime. Known for their grace, intellect, and mystic affinity, the Pheelanae are both feared and respected throughout the multiverse. They maintain a neutral stance in most interstellar conflicts, choosing diplomacy and observation over warfare—though they are more than capable of defending their territory when provoked.
Biology and Physiology
The Pheelanae are humanoid in form but distinctly feline in appearance, possessing fur of various patterns and hues, large expressive eyes capable of night vision, and sharp retractable claws. They are known for their exceptional reflexes, balance, and agility, rivaling that of even the most advanced combat androids.Their telepathic communication is innate and allows for instantaneous conversation across light-years when tuned through astral resonance. This ability also makes them resistant to most forms of mental manipulation.
Abilities
Telepathy: All Pheelanae possess a natural link to the Astral Flow, allowing them to communicate mind-to-mind, often without the need for spoken language.Astral Travel: Utilizing ancient rituals and advanced Spelljammer technology, they can project their consciousness—or even their entire bodies—across dimensional planes.
Cat Reflexes: Enhanced agility, reaction time, and sensory awareness make them excellent navigators, warriors, and stealth operatives.Dimensional Cloaking (Elite Only): Some elite Pheelanae can shift between reality layers, allowing them to become briefly invisible or phase through solid matter.
Culture and Society
Pheelanae society is governed by the Council of Whispers, a telepathic high council located on Pheela Prime that communicates through collective dreams. Their culture values balance, harmony with nature, and the pursuit of both technological and magical knowledge. They are also deeply spiritual, believing in the Great Cosmic Pawprint, a metaphorical representation of the multiverse's flow and rhythm. Temples to this concept can be found on every world they inhabit. While they tend to avoid imperialism, the Pheelanae have established sanctuaries, trade outposts, and Astral Stations—such as Meewah Astral Station—in multiple realms, acting as guides, scholars, and peacekeepers.
Technology
Pheelanae technology blends magic and science in seamless harmony. They are known to craft organic Spelljammer vessels, often shaped like animals or elegant sculptures, and powered by astral energy. Their medical technology is second only to the V’lir, and their telepathic archive crystals contain thousands of years of galactic history and wisdom.
They also manufacture interdimensional gates, cloaking collars, and transversal cloaks that allow physical travel through dreams or spirit walks.Known LocationsPheela Prime: Capital world, home of the Great Astral Grove and Council of WhispersMeewah Astral Station: Primary hub for travelers between planes, operated by the Pheelanae

Their assistance to Commander Alden Michaels during the Battle of Meewah has been widely documented and honored by the Interrealm Council.
