[Urgent] Need a Strong Professional Reference – Any Help Appreciated!
Hi everyone, I’m in a bit of a time-sensitive situation and would really appreciate your help or guidance.
I recently interviewed for a SME– Payroll Processing role at a well-known tech solutions company (Zensar). The interview went well, and I'm now in the final stages of the hiring process. They've asked for a strong professional reference to move ahead – preferably someone from a similar domain who can speak to my skillset and responsibilities.
A bit about me:
I have 2.5+ years of experience in vendor management and procurement within IT services.
My current role includes vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, compliance tracking, invoice processing, and stakeholder coordination across departments like procurement, finance, and operations.
I’ve also handled multi-vendor portfolios and helped streamline vendor documentation and onboarding processes.
I hold an MBA in International Business and have a keen interest in expanding my career into global compliance-heavy roles (like working with IR35/HMRC standards for UK/EU vendors).
Unfortunately, due to the sensitive nature of job hunting while employed, I can’t approach my current employer for a reference. If you’ve worked in procurement, payroll, HR compliance, or vendor operations, and are comfortable giving a quick reference (either over email or call), I would be incredibly grateful. I’ll provide a quick summary and talking points – nothing time-consuming.
Feel free to DM me if you’re open to helping out or if you’ve been through something similar and have advice. Thank you in advance – I truly appreciate this community!
