Merge prelude episodes or keep them separate?

Seriously stumped by this: How should we release prelude episodes?

Each character (4 of them) has their own backstory episode (~30–55 mins). These preludes are optional, but they give deeper insight before the main campaign starts.

I'm leaning towards releasing separately all in the same week. One released every other day.
