nervous about finding a job

hi! i graduate this semester and am immediately doing my 4+1 (should be done by december of this year). i have about 4 internships under my belt. one was at a construction company, the next at a small public firm, then I did VITA, and lastly is the one i'm currently at. i got this internship last summer it's a big firm but not big 4. i really like it here and was excited when they offered me the busy season internship. the firm recently went through a merger and i just had my exit interview.... they blamed it on "not knowing the numbers" but when I asked about even just an internship position rather than full time they flat out told me no. i think im feeling pretty discouraged as i honestly thought i was doing well here and was receiving less feedback over time. people seemed to be relatively happy with my work so i feel a bit blindsided. now i have to start applying for open position for next year but im worried about the job market
