Grower vs show-ers

I am thinking about giving some of these a try. Looking at everyone's post it looks like more are show-ers than I am. I'm a bit of a grower. Of those of us that fall into the shorter category when soft, has anyone had any issues with wearing these? Does it defeat the purpose of the pouches when you penis shrinks to a short size? Just looking for any feedback before I purchase these.
