Help... Different versions?..why cant i kick..

Hi. I recently downloaded a halfsword.. Tho i used to have it before but i have different computer.. Seems like.. Things changed?.. I cant jump or kick anymore which was the big part of the fun.. I play of Acer Nitro the newest...and i am finding it hard to see or fimd where to press or what to di so i can kick? .. Thanks.
