Should I or no?

Im a 31yo female. I have been struggling with swollen tonsils which make it hard to swollow and make me feel often like food is stuck or Im going to choke. I was sent to the ENT and she thought maybe I have gerd so she prescribed me omeprozole for three months to try before I decide to get them out as she said even her as an ENT would not want to get hers removed. I was wondering if anyone else had the trouble with swollowing before or the food "stuck" feeling? Or am I just crazy? And if you have did the tonsillectomy remove that feeling???
