Looking to play again

Hello all fellow pirates! I wanted to ask you all how far has the game progressed and bugs been fixed since the 2nd season? I played since the beta and just grew tired of the bugs most of all. I liked seeing the bosses they were releasing, but got fed up when playing landshore would cause the lock to where you couldn't interact with anything or even leave the island without resetting. Looking to come back to play the whole experience again through a new fresh game save but wanted to ask you all first how much better is the game now versus when it released before I do.
