Weren't Cameron and Chase brothers?

Hello. I finished House M.D last Sunday, and just visiting this sub I realized something very intriguing, Chase and Cameron are not brothers.

During the series, I had a memory that they were brothers said in the first season. Later, when they had a relationship, I thought they were half-brothers then. It's absurd, but it's House M.D, you know how it is.

However, after finishing the series and visiting the sub (as well as searching online), I realized that no one said they were brothers or anything like that. Then, I went to the first episodes to review. There really wasn't any citation.

Watching the series, I was confused by the death of Chase's father, which Cameron didn't care much about (since he was also her father), but I was convinced when they both had blonde hair in Season 4.
