20-30 Minute ka kaam 2-3 Minute mein kaise Karu?!
I've been into vedic astrology for quite some time now (5-6 years). I’ve noticed that many astrologers, even experienced ones, often end up giving predictions that are either wrong or filled with unnecessary fear. I feel a big reason for this is the lack of a modern or updated perspective. The world has changed, and readings need to evolve too. But most don’t. And that affects the accuracy, and worse, affects people.
I also tried working on apps like Astrotalk. But here’s what really put me off:
-
They expect you to either waste the client’s time so that the person is forced to spend more money. Also they give hardly any time to observe the chart carefully, study alignments, check aspects, nakshatra, asthakvarga points, dashas, transit to give accurate readings.
-
They prefer you to keep things optimistic—so that the user stays hooked and keeps coming back.
Honestly, I couldn’t continue like that. I do have a genuine passion for astrology. And yes I wanted to use my knowledge of astrology to earn on the side (I am a Policy Research Analyst). I’ve asked myself—if I truly want to help people, why not just offer astrology for free? The truth is, I want to help, and I do offer help freely when I can. But at the same time, I’ve spent time and effort learning, practicing, and understanding this deeply. Just like any other skill or profession, I believe it’s okay to earn a modest, fair amount, not for exploiting someone’s pain, but for the time, energy, and value I give. And apps like astrotalk might give me a tiny side income but it's unfair as hell to people and the knowledge and interest I wish to pursue this with.
I’m feeling a bit clueless right now. I want to do astrology with honesty and integrity. If anyone out there has suggestions feel free to connect. I’d really appreciate it.
