H1B renewal approved for wife and I (Dropbox New Delhi): April 2025

Hi

I want to share my extremely smooth and fast H1B renewal process at New Delhi VFS. Both our H1B visas had expired but we were within 1 year grace period for Dropbox eligibility.

Dropbox time was 12:30, we reached at 11:45 and were immediately sent to the counter and we were done by 12 PM. Only asked for passport, I-797 photocopy and one photo. No EVL asked although we had it.

Timeline for both myself and wife:

Dropbox: 25 April - Friday Case created: 28 April - Monday Case approved: 29 April - Tuesday Visa issued: 30 April - Wednesday

Hopefully I can collect them sometime next week.

I wish smooth sailing for others as well.

Thank you
