saying the word vegan
i’m in the uk and yesterday went to greggs for my lunch, glazed donut is vegan and im under the impression the belgian bun is too (haven’t tried but not really my thing) greggs normally have allergens listed where the price is and i saw the jam donut didn’t say eggs or milk. i didn’t think to ask the worker so my second best option was to ask a reddit im on literally all i put was “is jam donut vegan” explained that i was vegan and my brother was lactose intolerant so it would be nice to have a new option if it is. i said vegan 3 times including the title and jesus christ it was like i summoned multiple antichrists, “yet again proving the stereotype that vegans can’t stop telling people their vegan”, “just eat it it won’t kill you” then they decided that i ate this belgian bun (which i had only mentioned as i thought it had a recipe change) saying that at least be a real vegan and not “ignore certain foods i like the taste of” like what?? why do you think i’m making a post asking if something is vegan? shits and giggles? i seriously can’t get over people who feel the need to comment especially after seeing normal people replying telling me it’s not, why is the word vegan a homing beacon for sad old men.
