[APPROVED] France Schengen Visa — TLS Contact USA Timeline (LAX Center)
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my France Schengen visa experience via TLS Contact in the U.S. to help others going through the process. I was really anxious reading all the posts here, so I hope this helps someone else feel more prepared. Here's my timeline:
Application Center: TLScontact Los Angeles (LAX)
Destination: France
Nationality: [Ind with GC]
Visa Type: Tourist (Requested multiple entry)
Travel Dates: [May 7th Dep Flight - 1 week trip]
Passport Returned: via UPS Delivery (No option to pick-up)
🗓️ Timeline:
- Appointment Date: [Apr 23rd 2025]
- Biometrics Submitted: Same day as appointment
- Status Update:
- Apr 29: Email received that application was sent to the French Consulate for processing
- May 1: Received email saying "Your application has been approved"
- Passport Delivery (Expected): May 2 via UPS (tracking shows out for delivery: estimated 12PM PST)
📝 Notes & Tips:
- I submitted hotel bookings, round-trip flights, proof of income, and no travel itinerary as I applied for only one country.
- I tracked the status through the TLScontact portal daily.
- No interview required.
- Processing time was just 2 business days! after the passport was sent to Consulate.
- TLS Contact LA: They made me wait outside until 3 mins to my appointment. VERY specific on timings.
- I got lucky with the TLS Contact appointment as I happened to check April 21st and 22nd. April 22nd is when I booked my appointment. Impromptu decision, but it all worked out. Always advised to apply 45 days or early.
- Check for appointments mornings and evenings: If you are looking for appointments.
Feel free to ask questions if you're applying soon — happy to help where I can!
All the best to everyone who is applying.
