Is anyone else not able to do the Arena quest??

I haven’t played the original Oblivion, I just started playing the Remaster the other day, and my girlfriend had no issue doing the Arena quest all in one go, but for whatever reason Owyn just will not let me into the arena for a second match. I had done a match and then went off to do the Gray Prince quest, now I cannot get back in for another match no matter what time it is, I’m even making sure I’m only wearing the stupid raiment but he keeps telling me that the arena isn’t ready. I even abandoned the quest for a bit to do other ones, came back, at the right time, with the raiment equipped, and yet he still keeps telling me the stupid arena isn’t ready. I’m starting to get frustrated with this because I’m a completionist and want to have all the quests done if possible, is my save just ruined at this point or are they gonna fix this stupid bug?
