Post bacc interview advice

Hello,

I was lucky to get a few interview invites for some post bacc research jobs. I was wondering if anyone had advice regarding preparing for interviews with the current research coordinators/lab managers vs post docs vs with the PI.

I’m preparing responses to questions about my research interests, future career goals, to explain my past research experiences, and maybe some standard interview questions like “tell me abt urself”, “what are your strengths and weaknesses”, “tell me abt a challenge”, “how do you work in teams” but I want to make sure cover all the bases. Any additional help with interview response prep or anecdotes from your own post-bacc interview experience would be greatly appreciated!

I’m kind of worried about the PI asking field-specific questions. I have an okay baseline knowledge of this specific area of Clin psych and hope to learn more while in a post bacc position, so I’m nervous my interest won’t be able to overcome my lack of knowledge in my field of interest. Help with what a PI may ask would also be appreciated.
