More alone then when I was single

I'm in a relationship I feel more alone than when I was single. I can feel more boyfriends more distant and sitting here alone makes me feel more pathetic. I don't have any friends that I talk to regularly so I put all my social energy into him and my family. Now when he cancels plans or doesn't call me when he said he would it hurts so bad. When I'm single at least I don't have the expectation/hope of someone being there. I can occupy my own time without feeling left out. Does anybody else feel like this? I'm tired of feeling alone
