6 classic bezel 43mm vs 47mm?

So I bought an Amazon Warehouse deal of the 47mm, bezel works great but watch kinda too big for my wrist so I ordered a 43mm, also another warehouse deal, however the bezel is harder to use/grip, seems to stick, is that normal or I got a dud, thus why it was returned in the first place?

Eg if I use 2 fingers and hold the ring, it works ok, but it gets stuck if I just press on it with my thumb, which works fine on the 47mm

Ok so I ran dental floss under the bezel and uhm... some black tape came out, 3 pieces, now it spins easier now, but have I fucked it now long term?
