Looking for Flat Iron/Hair Straightener feedback: Have you tried GVP, Kristin Ess, or CHI Lava?

Question

Hi! I need a new hair straightener after my Remington of 15 years died. I've narrowed it down to the GVP Digital Flat Iron, which I am leaning towards, or the Kristin Ess 3-in-1. I know the Kristin Ess width is a little bigger, at 1.25 inches. I thought I would like it but when I went to Ulta to just hold it, it seemed bigger and more unwieldy? I couldn't take the GVP out of the box at Sally Hansen, so that's harder for me to gauge.

The other thing I thought about was splurging on the CHI Lava digital straightener. Is it any better than the other two, if you have it and/or have noticed?

Things I want/need in a hair straightener:
-Digital Temperature gauge (which is why the original CHI isn't in consideration)
-3.5" or longer plates
-Curved ends so that when I straighten my hair, I can curl the ends in for more of a blow-out look. I thought the Kristin Ess would be good for this but when I was in Sephora, I felt it was harder to turn it than the CHI Lava, and the GVP is of a similar size as the CHI Lava.

I feel like I'm leaning GVP or, if you really rave about the Lava, let me know so I can consider upgrading.

Thanks in advance for sharing any/all experiences!
