Has anyone else had this kind of psychic/curse situation happen in or near LA?

This might sound unbelievable, but I’m trying to find out if this is a scam or something more serious. A strange situation happened recently involving a psychic who claimed there was a curse on a home in Los Angeles.

The psychic gave a very specific location in the front yard and said something was buried there. Sure enough, when the spot was dug up (about a foot deep), a small plastic box was found. Inside the box were strange items: a pair of clay-like dolls (male and female) pierced with pins, a plastic finger, tiny skeleton parts, and a shoe filled with some black substance.

The psychic warned not to open the box or something bad would happen, but it was opened anyway. So far, no money has been requested, but the whole thing feels suspicious—like someone may be trying to set the stage for a scam.

Has anyone in the Los Angeles area ever dealt with a situation like this? A buried “cursed” box? A psychic revealing oddly specific info and then doing some ritual? Trying to figure out if this is a known trick or if others have gone through something similar?
