F87 M2 Price Hikes: Are they now overpriced?

Thanks to genius running our country, F87 prices are skyrocketing (among other things). I've been in the market for an 18 or new manual M2. Open to a comp, trying to stay under 45k. Under 50k miles, the lower the better. For about 6 months I've been keeping an eye out and there have been tons of lower mileage (under 40k) comps/non comps for around 35k-43k (obviously comps are on the higher end). I haven't pulled the trigger because I wanted to put 20k down, so saving a little more.

Within the last two weeks, prices are absolutely going through the roof. Most in that 35k-42k range now have high mileage (70k and up). Comps are mostly starting at 45-50k for good mileage.

So are these now considered overpriced? Or is this the new norm now and I need to bite the bullet and eat the cost?
