The Right to Be Seen: No More Invisible Lives
“If you’re here, you count.”
— Manifesto Point 18: The Right to Be Seen
We live in a world where entire groups of people are ignored. Where showing up, struggling, or even surviving isn’t enough to earn recognition — let alone respect.
We say enough.
At TomorrowBuilders, we believe visibility is a right, not a reward. You shouldn’t have to go viral to matter. You shouldn’t have to be profitable, photogenic, or politically useful to be counted.
You’re here? You’re human? Then you count.
This isn’t about handing out gold stars for existing. It’s about recognizing that entire systems are designed to keep certain people — certain voices — out of view.
The unhoused are spoken about, never with.
Disabled people are often called “inspiring” but left out of decisions.
Workers are seen as tools, not individuals.
Neurodivergent and marginalized people are expected to mask just to be tolerated.
Visibility is power. And too many people are invisible by design.
That’s what we’re challenging.
Being seen isn’t just about being noticed — it’s about being acknowledged, understood, and included. It means your voice shapes what we build, not just what gets posted about it after the fact.
So we ask you: Where have you felt invisible? And what would it mean for you — or someone you care about — to truly be seen?
Comment below. Speak it aloud. Because the moment you say it, you’re not invisible here.
