Tips for teaching executive functioning skills to 8 yr old

8yr old daughter…meds have been a game changer and she went from no confidence at school and being way behind to a grade level ahead and confident. It’s been so fun to watch her excel and get positive reinforcement from teachers. She’s always had an easy time making and keeping friends so no worries there yet. I’m concerned with her executive functioning. Her back pack is just wads of paper/trash…everyday! We clean it out and the next day more wads of paper. Her room…huge mess. I help her organize her bookshelves and 2 days later it’s like a tornado went through. I’ve made her a list to help her get through her morning tasks. If she completes them all by a certain time she gets these little fluffy things that she likes to collect in a jar. It’s helped, but some mornings I literally have to follow her around to keep her going on each step. We’re talking like asking 15 times to get her shoes on. I also have a 4 year old with a list who can easily go through and do all her morning tasks. It’s got me worried that I need to be doing more to help her with this. I’m just imagining her as a 20 year old needing to face time her mom to get ready to go in the morning.

TLDR: I’m looking for tips to help teach executive functioning skills…also, are there any coaches/podcasts that help teach parents how to teach this stuff?
